Calliope was perfect for our family stay. We had a group of six adults and four teenagers and the house was large enough to accomodate us all comfortably with a big circular table that we could all sit around for evening meals. The beds were very comfy and the cleanliness and presentation of the house was immaculate. The location is perfect for access to town and to the beaches. All our interactions with Yamba Iluka Real Estate, who manage the property, were seamless and they went out of their way to help us during our stay.
Very dusty! Location is good however the house was very dusty and cold downstairs even with the portable heater they provided for the downstairs living area. Check out was awful. We had the cleaners arrive 10 minutes before 10am (check out time) and started pressuring us to leave while we were trying to pack the car - apparently they had a big day ahead. The woman who is the cleaner then stood next to our vehicle which had open doors and proceeded to blow smoke into our car while waiting for us to leave. When we discussed this with the agent they did not care at all...Also, although some of the reviews mention a pool table, there is NO pool table anymore.

great place in a great location. perfect for families with active kids like ours. 2 minute walk to the beach, 10 minute walk into the town and 15 minute walk to the pub.
The Calliope Beach House was perfect for our large group. Plenty of rooms and multiple living spaces made for a very comfortable stay. We made good use of the facilities including the BBQ, pizza oven and table tennis table! Proximity to the beach was excellent. Perfect for walks along Pippis beach. Easy walk to town and the Pacific Hotel. Yamba was a great spot for our getaway. Communication about the house, check in and all the logistics was very clear and made our trip easy and enjoyable.

Along the way you’ll pass Pilot Hill and the lighthouse precinct which offer visitors beautiful panoramic ocean views. Check out the marina, hire a boat, take a relaxing river cruise, or order up a latte. And of course you can’t go home without tasting the famous Yamba prawns
