Peaceful resort with beautiful pools for swimming and lazing. The apartment was clean and comfortable, just tired and in need of a refurb in the living areas. Really comfy beds. Was within walking distance of Palm Cove restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I have mixed feedback on our stay at Mango Lagoon, positives include the fabulous 4 pools, all clean with sun beds and umbrellas always available during our stay. The staff are friendly, helpful & knowledgeable about the area. Unfortunately the accommodation was not up to the standard I was expecting, it was tired & grubby with ripped dining chairs, stained curtains, cushions etc and needed a deep clean. Airbnb states essentials provided include salt, pepper, oils etc these are not provided at the accommodation. A starter pack includes a toilet roll & 2 sachets of dishwasher & laundry powder - you are then required to buy your own, again I would have thought this should be provided as essentials, we stayed 7 nights so needed to buy our own. I raised my concerns with the Manager & he was very receptive & we agreed on an appropriate level of compensation to reflect the overall reduced quality of the accommodation which was fair but I would have preferred not to have to spend time complaining. Finally its worth checking which apartment the reviews apply to, all are individual & unique so my experience in apartment 53 is not necessarily going to reflect other apartments which will have different furnishings etc. So overall I would stay at Mango Lagoon resort again as the resort itself is clean, modern & well maintained with helpful staff - however I would strongly recommend you check the specific accommodation reviews so you are clear on what you are getting for your money.

We had a great stay at the Mango Lagoon Resort. The accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable (very comfortable beds). Just a 5 min walk to the Main Street. Some tips: - Organise a Woolworths or Coles online delivery - there are two general stores in Palm Cove but they don't stock much (and it's expensive) - Book your tours, hire cars etc in advance - we travelled in June and it was very busy - Be prepared for wet weather...even in the "dry season"!

We stayed at Mango Lagoon for a ten day break. Rooms are spacious, spotless and comfortable. Kitchen modern and functional. The grounds are fabulous with four beautiful pools suitable for small children to serious swimmers and an excellent BBQ area. It's a comfortable 12 - 15 minute walk to the centre of the Esplanade. Bus stop is just outside. Very friendly and helpful reception staff.
