We had a fantastic weekend with friends and our wee dog at this holiday home it’s the second time we visited this house. It is well equipped with everything you need. A beautiful view from front porch out onto water and beyond. A stunning wee village friendly and welcoming and the beach literally 6footsteps from front door. A lovely small enclosed back garden excellent for our wee dog to investigate. Would have no hesitation on recommending this property and already planning next visit. A nice friendly wee pub with a pool table and extremely breathtaking walks we live in a stunning part of the world.

This place is great, very cozy with a smashing view of the harbour out the front. Dog was a massive fan of the beach, as were we. If you’re expecting crystal chandeliers and velour furnishings, this place isn’t for you.

We had a wonderful holiday here, the house is great. The location is just superb. The pictures do not do it justice! the little sun lounge on the front is a beautiful place to drink a cup of coffee, read a book, or just sit and stare out the windows at the sea! The pub is a few doors away, and they serve a lovely pint of guinness. The locals we met were all very friendly and made you feel welcome. We had lovely walks on the beach and even swam in the sea a couple of times. We all fell in love with this house and Portmahomack in general. Please don't book here as we want it all for ourselves!

Fantastic house with fantastic views across the sea while sitting in the cosy porch the walk to the lighthouse is great the beach was great but too much seaweed could do with a clean up the pub is nice the local shop is great and the gift shop is fantastic along the far end just before big car park supermarkets are 7 miles in tain overall the holiday home is very envious of passer bys as its prime location with views over the harbour would definitely be again highly recommend
