I booked Nicola’s place for a corporate well-being n in nature with team-building event. Nicola was extremely accommodating with the later check out needed to host our timetable. She was also extremely responsive when a fuse blew and we couldn’t operate the oven and hob. The location is just perfect. It’s quiet and has a lovely sense of tranquility overlooking the Faversham Creek and a decent sized garden too. Walking distance from the town and right next door to a little cluster of artisan shops - cafe, pizzeria, restaurant, fish shop, butchers and several antique places. You can drive to Oare Marshes Nature Reserve in 12 minutes too, which was just perfect for our Nature Connection sessions! The corporate client said how much they enjoyed the property and it’s location, as well as our Nature Connection, Yoga and Naturopathic Food offering. The place is also just over a hours drive from London, so I can see I may have found a gem of a property for future events.
This accommodation was perfect for hosting a large group, (we were a family of 18 on a weekend away). Nicola was a great host, very responsive, the pictures and description were very accurate. Bathrooms were pristine. And the house is in a Beautiful area too
Lovely home which accommodated all our large family comfortably and well . Very comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and spacious dining room.
We had a lovely weekend at Customs House. Great location, walkable to Faversham high street, with restaurants and bars nearby. The house was a great size for our large group, big enough to all sit around the dining table together. Nicola was very good at responding to messages when we had difficulty with the alarm. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!
We stayed a weekend in October for my dads 60th with friends and family! The location is great with lots of lovely places nearby for food and drink. The house was an absolutely amazing space for what we wanted - a family gathering for a range of ages. The living / kitchen area is great for mingling and socialising whilst the bedrooms are away from the space and all so spacious. Everything was so clean and Nicola was a great host making sure everything was ok for us. Will 100% return for future family gatherings! Thank you we all had a wonderful time.

I live up the lane from The Barn with my husband Michael and two sons Joshua and Thomas. We have stables on the property where I keep my families horses and we have a number of dogs. We enjoy a very active life on the property and around the area with friends and family.
