Situated close to the main centre of Tairua, Diamond Retreat is a newly refurbished, modern self contained studio separate from the owners home. Tairua is a small beachside community with lovely cafes and restaurants only a 5 minute walk from here. 2 Hours S.E. of Auckland Tairua is a great town to base yourself to see the main attractions of the Coromandel. Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove within a 30 minute drive.We have a beautiful safe harbour, a surf beach and great fishing and diving. The studio is situated at the back of our property overlooking beautiful native bush with views of the estuary. The Studio has a well equipped kitchen, brand new bathroom, lovely new comfortable Queen size bed and is perfect for a couples getaway. Enjoy your surroundings with a relaxing drink in "Russ's BackBar", listen to the birds, relax and enjoy the laid back kiwi way in our stylish studio.

Such a great space. Everything you could need: walking distance to town and the beach, felt right at home. Hosts were friendly and gave heaps of local tips. Can't wait to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at Kay's place. It was well equipped and in such a wonderful setting! Also the shower was amazing! We'd love to come back and stay longer another time :)

We love living here due to the proximity to town! It's an 8 minute walk in the flat that takes in beautiful views over the harbor. We can easily walk into town for a night out and not worry about driving! Generally speaking it's a lovely quiet neighborhood not a lot of traffic!
