Had a beautiful stay, amazing location for kids and pets, the cottage was clean and hottub was hot and ready on arrival. Only note was that there were a few broken items/furniture on arrival, nothing that would stop us coming back though:)!

Lovely little cottage, nice quiet and calm location. Clean inside and had all basic things like tea and coffee, body wash etc. The hot tub was lovely, watching rabbits running around the field while we were relaxing. The only small criticism is that the hot tub wasn’t ready for the first day/night and only staying for 2 nights meant we only got to use it for one day, however this was mentioned in the listing. Also to note the sofa bed was quite uncomfortable but this is what you’d probably expect for a sofa bed. Overall great little stay and would recommend.

Perfect couples quiet weekend getaway. Location is great with Methven being only 5 minute drive with a local shop, also an amazing Indian takeaway which got delivered no issues. Loved the hot tub and great scenery for it. The house was great, it was spotless and an ideal size. Had a great time.

Beautiful surroundings and a peaceful setting. I think we were unlucky as there was issues with the shower, we could not get hot water from it as the handle was broken. I reached out to the host and was told it couldn’t be fixed until 2 days later and to use the bath. As we wanted a shower and I needed one they offered us to use another cottages shower. The issue was that every time we would want to use the hot tub, we would then need to go over to another cottage to shower and come back over to our cottage to then use the hot tub. With two kids with us, this was really inconvenient and did really disappoint us. When I told the host, they then stopped responding to my messages. They only responded when I raised the issue with Air Bnb. I asked for some money back as we left half way through our stay which the host agreed to and paid half our money back. There were broken handles on furniture and some dirty marks on the duvet. I would have overlooked this but the shower was an issue.
