Such a lovely place to stay and amazing location on the Fowlis Wester hills - will definitely be back as the hosts were so attentive with really good directions and communication throughout our stay on how to get to the property along with providing the best Lasagne I’ve ever had.

We didn't actually stay in Orchard Cottage as originally planned, but were moved to Coachmans Cottage. This was communicated well in advance and the accommodation was equally lovely. The welcome package was a lovely touch and the produce of great quality - there was even a freshly baked chocolate cake! Spotlessly clean and lots of lovely touches. We couldn't have been looked after better, they even opened the bar for us to get a bottle of wine one rainy evening. There was nothing that I looked for and didn't find during our stay. Lovely enclosed garden for the dogs and the highland cow neighbours were a treat. If I had to find any fault the water pressure didn't make for an invigorating shower, the electronic lock on the front door was a bit of a challenge when trying to lock from the outside and a tug downstairs would have been nice - none of which detracted from our stay.

A very good short break. Everything was just right - location, cleanliness, size and design of accommodation. Very slick check in and check out. Convenient and high quality service for meals on demand.

A commercial skip opposite the outside seating area of the cottage, and a few faults in the accommodation that should have been sorted before our arrival sadly spoilt our stay at the cottage.

Orchard Cottage exceeded our expectations. It was very spacious, comfortable, clean and very well equipped. We didn’t try the meals that can be ordered but would love to if we get the opportunity to return. The welcome hamper was great containing many necessities and the chocolate brownies were delicious. If we had any questions before or during our stay the staff were really helpful and easy to contact. The farm is fairly rural so it is good to be organised with food beforehand or order from the farm menu. The kitchens are also very well equipped.
