Karl’s place is in a beautiful park of Idaho. There was a nice layer of snow blanketing the area but Karl had the road and driveway plowed. It’s a quick drive to Island Park and West Yellowstone. The drive up to Yellowstone was gorgeous! The highway in that area is nicely maintained. All of the locals were friendly. Dinner at Big Jud’s was perfect as always. Karl and his family were incredibly hosts.

Karl’s place was the perfect weekend getaway. We arrived after dark and checking in was seamless. There are clear instructions on how to find the private entrance, with lighted signs to guide you. Even in the complete dark we found it! The rooms and living area were clean and well kept- we were comfortable our entire stay. Karl and his family were extremely friendly and welcoming. They recommended a local fall activity and we loved it! The location is stunning and very peaceful. You could walk out the door for a nature walk! Or, you can drive to the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, or Mesa Falls. We highly recommend booking with Karl and if we are ever out this way again we will be sure to come back!

We had no problems or issues with our stay-from the time we booked it until we turned out the lights and headed home. Karl answered all our questions and everything we needed was provided…the place was immaculate and beds were super comfortable!
