A beautiful stay - home is in a lovely, quiet area. Some form of transport recommended for getting around. Pool was a great plus for kids to have loads of fun. Maria is a warm and wonderful, always ready to help.

Best villa we have stayed in! Maria’s villa was wonderful, it was situated amongst the olive groves in a blissful part of Corfu. Maria was a brilliant host, she made us feel very welcome and settled. She even brought us fresh eggs and olive oil. The villa was superb, the rooms were beautifully prepared and there was plenty of natural light. The area is quiet, we would recommend getting a car! But would also be very happy in that villa without one, it is the kind of villa that you would be very happy staying there for weeks on end. There is a wonderful bakery about 200m down the road with delicious brioche and freshly baked biscuits. It was a wonderful peaceful villa that made us feel like we found a slice of heaven in Corfu. Maria was a brilliant host, very accommodating and kind.

The location is exactly what we were looking for - picturesque Corfu complete with sunsets, ocean views and olive groves. We were able to walk to the local shop, taverna and bakery. The nearest beach was also a steep walk away. However I would highly recommend a car for beach runs and exploring further afield. It’s nicely isolated and a car is therefore needed. The house is very comfortable and well accommodated. Regarding the area - The wasps all over the island were a bit off putting. I don’t think we were really prepared for how intense they would be. It was nice to be able to sit out with a coffee in the morning and have a swim or an evening meal as a family but you do have to be prepared for the onslaught of wasps. Highly recommend a hike to Port Timoni as well as the beaches at Arillas and Agios Georgios. The kids and I loved hiring kayaks and pedaloes. The water is the most brilliant emerald colour and you crystal clear. Amazing spot.

Great place for a perfect holiday with the family. We enjoyed the beautiful garden and the wonderful pool (would be nice with 2 more sunbeds ). The outdoor table in the shadow was used every morning and we enjoyed the grill one day (butcher not far away). Quick drive (10 minutes) down to Arillas for swimming and restaurants. Good communication with host Maria. Stonehouse so WiFi a little difficult (best outside :-)). Thank you for a wonderful stay. Hope to come back one day!
