Kaoru is the best Airbnb host I have ever met. She is very nice and responsive. We are especially grateful for her kind help when one of my kids got sick during the trip. All members in my family (from myself to my kids) enjoyed the stay at this beautiful and historic guesthouse. Highly recommended!

Kaoru’s homestay is a lovely, traditional homestay in a tatami room with shared bathroom, kitchen and dining facilities. Kaoru is so helpful and friendly and does everything she can to make you feel comfortable and at home. This is not luxury accommodation, and it can get cold once the heaters are turned off. But the beds are comfy and warm, and overall it was a wonderful experience with a fantastic host. Very glad we stayed here.

The host has run this historical guesthouse for ten years.Actually I era impressed by her enthusiasm .she willing to communicate with each other , listen to everyone’s stories Matsushiro is also a good place to learn about Japanese history by Sanada the local noble Only one thing you might be disturbed a bit by cars’ roar if you sleep in the room first floor facing the street
