We spent three unforgettable days at the cottage. I was amazed when I found everything needed for a short or long stay in the cottage. The kitchen is well-equipped, starting with all kitchen tools and finishing with plenty of spices. All necessities for laundry, including a washer and dryer, were provided. There are two bathrooms with supplies provided as well. However, the main masterpiece of the cottage is its unbelievably beautiful surroundings. You will have such wonderful nature around that you won't need to go anywhere else to the mountains. Karen provided a huge book with plenty of information about sightseeing, restaurant menus, and other useful information. We visited the emerald mine, which I highly recommend if you have kids. It's so much fun to feel the treasure hunt vibes. On all other days, we preferred to stay home and relax, listening to the murmuring stream and enjoying the serenity of beautiful nature. The cottage was beautiful, cozy, just as pictured in the description. Karen is quick to provide information and very accommodating. The cottage was very well stocked with many amenities which made us feel very at home. Very clean and comfortable. Beautifully decorated. Driving distance to many great hikes, Asheville, cute little towns like Black Mountain. We took the kids tubing at Mars Hill and they had a wonderful time. Great service there too. We look forward to coming back in the warmer months!

This was my second visit to the Creekside Cottage, and it's even better than last time. The kitchen is so well-equipped, we had everything we needed to cook, and we also found several nice restaurants nearby. Speedy and helpful communication with the host made the check in and departure very easy. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and soothing murmur of the creek from the front porch. Looking forward to another visit in the future!

It was a great stay for me and my wife and 2 teenagers. We were wanting quiet and secluded. It was what we got. The property was great. It has a small pond and a small steam. Large yard. House was clean and neat. Looks like it was upgraded not too long ago. Beds were comfortable. We have a front wheel drive suv. No problem coming and going from the house.
