Lovely cottage in a pretty village with a nice pub and shop. Easy access to Padstow, Port Isaac, and other great bays and beaches. Cottage was clean and had all you need to cook there. The garden is great for dogs

We hadn’t been to Cornwall before and we wanted a location that we could easily explore various locations. Penweir Cottage was perfect for this as it was only a short drive to beautiful coastal walks around Padstow, Port Isaac and Pentire near Polzeath Beach, and only half an hours drive to The Eden Project. St Ives was a little further to drive to but easily doable for a day trip. And at the end of the day Penweir Cottage was great to come back to and relax. It was also great to have the community shop only a two minute walk away to easily top up on supplies. Katie was very helpful with instructions before we arrived, which made the cottage easy to find and get settled in on arrival.

We had an enjoyable stay at this rustic cottage with a private garden. The area's a peaceful and safe neighborhood. The space was adequate for 4 adults and our dog. The cottage's a good base to visit attractions in Cornwall.

We had a very nice stay; the cottage is very comfortable, cosy, clean and there is a lot of privacy. Cornwall is absolutely beautiful, and the village St. Mabyn is very nice. We loved the pub / restaurant and the well stocked village shop, both just around the corner. Katie is an excellent host, very friendly and quick to respond. We can highly recommend a stay here!
