This was one of the most disappointing vacations in my life. The house did not match either the photos which had been enhanced by computer and the description only mentioned the features and not the condition of said features. And yes, I discussed our concerns with the very nice people at Holiday Homes @ Noosa but they are the letting agents and not the owner! When built, it would have been amazing but has had little in the way of maintenance. There were a number of safety issues (some fixed/some not) but it was things like the master bedroom blinds that didn’t work properly, the underside of the toilet seat, the billiard table with pockets held together with zip ties and the library with no books or games just to name a few. I could write a lot more. The only positive is that the beds are comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water. So if you need to sleep 8 to 12 persons for a couple of nights and won’t be around most of the time then OK. Otherwise go elsewhere!

Let me start by saying that this is a very spacious property, good for large groups. We were a party of 11 and stayed for 5 days. It’s not very close to the beach and while it has a nice view, it’s very distant. It’s also a very old building and in my opinion needs some renovations. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: Large and spacious Gym and theater in the basement Nice balcony and gathering area upstairs Interesting modern minimalistic architecture Cons: Many appliances in need of repair ( master broken lights, master faucet, first floor shower, led lights flickering etc.) Master bedroom A/C heating unit was not working well and left the room cold at night ( we visited during winter) Sauna is nice but like the rest of house is in need of renovation Audio system took us a couple of days to figure out, could use some updates Front gate to the property is broken and stays wide open, we parked the cars in the front to block the entrance a little bit. (The neighborhood appeared to be safe but we had kids and would have felt safer with the gate property closed)
