Amazing location and views. This was the perfect family get-away with plenty of space and activities for all.

The ceiling fans were covered with dust. The hot tub had a lot of dirt in the bottom. The sauna did not heat up past luke warm after 30-60 mins. instructions on how to get it to heat enough to use it were under heating unit and you couldn’t find them u less you get in your hands and knees to look. The temperature in the upstairs bedroom was hot, the main floor was comfortable, and the downstairs bedroom and bathroom were so uncomfortably cold with no way to adjust the temperature. No propane for the grill, two empty propane tanks. There are gross stains in both the sofa and loveseat. There was trash on the ground in the front of the cabin and a full trash can outside from previous guests. Food left in the freezer from past guest.

*Would not recommend for young children*. Vacasa was terrible. We had two issues upon arrival, we had to call three separate times and they didn’t seem interested in helping us getting them fixed. The hot tub did not work the entire time of our stay, which was one reason we chose this home. Vacasa didn’t send someone out despite two prior calls until the third day of us being there. For the cleaning fee that is charged, the house was not that clean. The house itself is very nice and accurately advised. Personally, we would not stay here again based off our experience with Vacasa, the driveway and needing it to be child friendly.

We loved this location in Sylva, NC and the seclusion of the cabin. The only thing I had distaste for was the crubs of food and dust left around the house under different peices of furniture, so the cleaning could be stepped up a notch. But otherwise it was a perfect place for a group of friends to get together for a week long vacation! The deck was definitely our favorite part of the trip and where we spent the most time whether that was reading and drinking coffee in the mornings or playing games around the table at night. Thank you!
