Nice little cottage in the centre of a quaint fishing village. Everything within short walking distance including beach, pubs, shops and bakery. Parking is in nearby public car park which is a short walk and very reasonably priced. The cottage is well equipped and has a homely feel to it. There’s no outdoor space but with the nice beach on your doorstep that isn’t really an issue. Bedrooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. Everything was clean and tidy on arrival and remote check in was easy and well instructed. I think the price we paid was a fair and reasonable one for the property. We enjoyed our stay so much we stayed an extra night which was no problem sorting out with the host/Air B&B. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

A great location and very cute cottage which was just as described in the advert. In March it is important to ensure the heating has had a chance to take the chill off the property prior to guests' arrival. We found that the cottage took a long time to warm up, possibly this was contributed to by the time it took us to figure out the various switches for the electric heaters. The main consumer unit electrical switch triggered to off several times during our stay which (after we figured out how to reset) wasn't a big problem. The front door jams badly so opening and closing was a bit of a pain. It is a relatively minor maintenance issue but needs attention. We want to emphasise that Richard's cottage is lovely and a great location. Without the easily fixed maintenance problems it would deserve an extra star above our four star rating.

Great cottage for a short break. Within easy walking of all amenities. Short walk from car park (£8.50/7days). It was fairly cold on arrival (February), but once we'd worked out how to operate the radiators we were cosy enough (instructions provided - to my eyes the 'green' on light is blue). The grandchildren loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom and the oldy-worldy feel to the place. The modern kitchen has all you need. Comfy beds and smart decor. Overall, a pleasant stay which we'd like to repeat, but with better weather!
