A really good value Very clean
Ruthie's Retreat was the perfect size for our family group. Plenty of space and beds for everyone. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evenings, and cooking steaks and smores on the backyard grills.
Ruth’s Retreat was perfect for what we needed. Couldn’t beat the price either. Plenty of space for 9 of us. Check it out if you’re in the area.
Great place! A little unexpected in such a small town. Very comfortable and plenty of space for a large family.
Very cute house in a quiet rural location. Easy check in and great communication with owner. We did experience a smell in the home upon arrival that seemed to us to be of cat/cat urination. We, unfortunately, could only tolerate that for one of the two nights originally planned. I did fail to let the owner know right away, as we had a family event scheduled that day and it did skip my mind.

I am a mother of 5 children, 2 girls grown and 3 boys in college and high school My husband and I own and operate a 300 cow/calf ranch and farm ground also. I was a in home daycare provider for 25 yrs and decided to help more on the farm/ranch as well as taking care of all the books for the business. We also own a trucking business in Fordyce. Both my husband and I grew up in the area and absolutely love it here. It is so peaceful & beautiful. We have many friends here and our kids loved growing up here. We all love to be outdoors taking care of the animals, cows & calves, horses, chickens, dogs, cats etc. We do not travel too far for too long, but love to meet new people. We are a family who lives by do onto others as you would want them to do onto you.
