I loved staying in The Rocks as it was very walkable to Circular Quay, cafés and restaurants. It was just a block away from the Harbor BridgeWalk. Catherine’s place was also close to the metro, which made it easy to walk to and from. I liked the Airbnb because it was not in the crazy busy section of CBD. It was very suitable for three people.

The apartment is located in a historic building in the most historic part of Sydney. The apartment is within walking distance to the cruise port, ferry port, and main bus line services (including the hop on/off tourist bus). Easy to get to all the Sydney tourist spots. The apartment has everything which is needed. Washer/Dryer was excellent. Our stay was during summer, and the portable room AC (with some provided fans) was adequate to keep the apartment comfortable. We arrived via a cruise. Catherine went out of her way to have the apartment available and ready for us to checkin as soon as the boat arrived at the port (8am). While it is possible to walk/carry bags from the port to the apt, it is a significantly uphill. After transporting a couple bags, we decided to get a $12(USD) Uber to transport the other bags. Several bars, restaurants, Starbucks, convenient store are all located within 3-4min walk of the apt. This is an ideal place for any type of group.
