Perched above the sparkling waters of the River Isla in beautiful Glenisla, this lodge makes a very comfortable base from which to explore the lovely surrounding area. Enjoying a peaceful setting with no near neighbours, it lies 2 miles from an adventure centre offering outdoor pursuits and cycle hire. Excellent hill walking, cycling and riding can be enjoyed locally as well as loch fishing (by arrangement), whilst Alyth, 11 miles, has shops and three golf courses. Shop and pub 10 miles. Can comfortably fit up to 4 people

Lovely place, all essentials there, beautiful surroundings, owner was very helpful and sent instructions prior to our arrival. Peaceful location and lots to do nearby for family, kids and dogs! Highly recommend. Would definitely come again!

Das Ferienhaus war einfach wunderbar! Die Einrichtung war einfach und stilvoll, die Lage mitten in der Natur war eine absolute Entspannung. Wir haben die Ausstattung der Küche und die großzügigen Terrassen wirklich genossen. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und gut zu erreichen. Alles in allem hatten wir einen fantastischen Aufenthalt und würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
Great location for skiing in glenshee just a 30 min drive and 1 hour 30 min from Lecht 2090 ski resort, we had a great meal at Glen Isla hotel, everything we needed in the cottage for our stay. Would highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!
Firstly we would recommend this cottage and its location to anyone wanting visit the area. It is a great location, walking distance to a pub/restaurant and beautiful surroundings. The main reason we only gave it three starts were mainly due to the poor service we from Cottages and Airbnb. We tried to cancel this booking as an elderly family member in England was seriously unwell and required our support over Christmas (we were up visiting other family members) . We contacted Cottages.. by email and phone and were told our contract was with Airbnb so they could not help. We called Airbnb and they told us they would need to contact Cottages.. (??) to see if we could cancel, then said NO!. This was frustrating as we were not looking for a full refund (poss move booking date?) but no one was willing to negotiate or discuss. Fortunately my brother in law stepped in to help and we were able to use the cottage.
