The West Highland Way takes you along the banks of Loch Lomond and runs from Glasgow to Fort William; you can join different stretches of the route, and there are lots of opportunities for cycling on the National Cycle Network Route 7 and fishing in lochs and rivers. You can also hire a boat to visit the islands on the loch or enjoy a cruise through spectacular scenery rich in wildlife and history. Just 5 minutes’ drive away is the loch side village of Luss, and in Ballach you will find the Loch Lomond Shores Leisure and Shopping Mall which makes for a great day out.
