WALK TO YARTS - The Prospector at Southgate

ON THE WAY TO YOSEMITE. We are just steps from the Yosemite bus stop (YARTS), the Coarsegold Historic Village, three locally owned restaurants, and Zander’s coffee. New! The Mountain Oaks Cafe and bar just opened 150 ft from our door. We are the the only stay RIGHT in historic Coarsegold. The Prospector was built for travelers who wish to enjoy a local feel. The hillside setting provides a mountain camping vibe but with amenities like a Tesla/EV charger, Bluetooth speakers and a hillside spa.

Manzanita Tiny Cabin

Escape to nature in our Manzanita Tiny Cabin. This is one of two tiny houses on our property. Enjoy the views and the stars on the peaceful 24 acres this cabin shares. Located 4.2 miles to Bass Lake, 23 miles to Yosemite South Gate Entrance (Mariposa Grove) or 90 minutes to Yosemite Valley. Amenities include stocked kitchen with Keurig, queen bed, sofa bed, and small sleeping loft w/queen mattress. The outdoor area is perfect for relaxing, stargazing or playing the 6-hole disc golf course.

My architecturally designed home is not your usual Airbnb Listing near Yosemite. It is your own mini Yosemite! There's a seasonal river to swim in with rock pools to swim in thats visible from your deck which wraps around the entire home. Another custom deck features hot shower coming out the granite boulders and clawfoot tub overlooking the river. This fully remodeled tiny home (with some original character left in place!) sits just 6 miles from downtown Oakhurst, 12 miles from Yosemite's South Entrance, and 7 miles Bass Lake! It is situated on a private 1 acre lot in the forest of Cedar Valley, a mountain neighborhood on the north side of Oakhurst.
