Less than an hour from Minneapolis, the Loondocks is a sun-soaked, pet-friendly hideout on beautiful Big Eagle Lake. Natural stone steps (NOTE: These are uneven, so do not book if you have mobility concerns!) lead down to the bungalow-style house, a stylish bunkhouse, wood-burning sauna, spacious deck with lake views, and flat waterfront yard. Sip coffee and watch the sunrise, lay out a towel at the end of the dock, or share a meal with the whole family! This is the perfect all-season getaway.

Enjoy all that Lake Life has to offer! Whether you’re playing in the water, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, floating peacefully or just watching the sunset over the lake - it’s the escape you deserve! Located just 30 minutes from the northwest metro you can avoid all the hectic weekend travel and spend more time on the lake! We do have a fishing/swimming dock but it's not designed for boats. The yard down to the lake is a bit steep and may be challenging for those with mobility issues.

You can sleep well after a long day of snowmobiling, hunting, fishing or sight seeing at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Sit around the campfire in the evening and relax. This has a queen bed, twin trundle bed and comfy couch for sleeping. In the kitchenette there is a full size fridge, a two burner stove, microwave, coffee pot, blender and a toaster/pizza/convection oven. Be aware, you will have to share the party room side with some homeschoolers on Wednesday mornings.

Take in the gorgeous lakeside sunsets with a camp fire or grilling on the back patio. Inside, enjoy a gourmet kitchen, fireplace, record player, luxury linens and more.

This is a small place on a septic system with a NEW ! 40 gallon water heater with only 2 vehicle parking. Please note docks come out of water labor day weekend each year. Pontoon rental $200 per day with Gas, $50 cleaning fee if not clean. Fish house rental available.

Peaceful lake house located on a quiet cul-de-sac. Enjoy the spacious multilevel lakeside deck overlooking the water, perfect for soaking up sun and relaxing. Home is all one level. Enjoy a kayak ride, swim or jump off the dock. Take a walk or run along a paved lakeside road in the warm weather. During the fall, take in colors, visit a nearby orchard, or go for a round of golf at the nearby course just 10 miles away. Winter is great for a getaway too!
