Welcome to our mountain getaway cottage! Barberry Cottage is located in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills. It is located only 32 mins/22 miles from Kings Canyon National Park where you can enjoy walking among the majestic giant sequoias of General Grant Grove, relaxing at Hume Lake, or adventuring in Boyden Cavern. The cottage is also a perfect location for a peaceful getaway where you can spend time simply relaxing amidst classic California scenery: oaks, pines, and the ever-changing skies.

There are cottontails in the yard, deer come to drink at the water trough and 107 bird species have been seen on the property. The yard is fenced so your pets will be safe. We provide pods for the Keurig coffee maker as well as creamer, sugar, artificial sweetener and tea. There is a microwave, toaster, Mr. Coffee and a gas barbecue for your use also.

Our Rustic Little Cottage in the heart of the picturesque Town of Harmony, population 18 (if you count the cows) is the perfect artist or couples retreat looking for inspiration and a place to unplug and unwind, hence no wifi or television. The town is in the country surrounded by open pasture lands. Lots of wildlife and critters such as field mice, oppossums, raccoons abound. Harmony is right off scenic Highway 1 between Cayucos and Cambria.
