Welcome to our mountain getaway cottage! Barberry Cottage is located in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills. It is located only 32 mins/22 miles from Kings Canyon National Park where you can enjoy walking among the majestic giant sequoias of General Grant Grove, relaxing at Hume Lake, or adventuring in Boyden Cavern. The cottage is also a perfect location for a peaceful getaway where you can spend time simply relaxing amidst classic California scenery: oaks, pines, and the ever-changing skies.

Our hope is that you love all part of your stay from the quiet stillness of the trees, to animals/bird watching, to enjoying and playing in the river and stargazing at the open sky

The ranch has plenty of private outdoor space to explore including over a mile of the Kaweah River, one of the only deep water swimming areas around, ponds, and, a 60 ft waterfall. Our property is great for the hiking, bird watching, swimming, or fishing enthusiast! A map of the land and its features will be provided upon arrival.

This is a kid friendly property with a pack-n-play, booster seat, and a play kitchen area in the downstairs. There is a king bed located upstairs in the loft (winding staircase is steep) and a double bed located downstairs in a bedroom.
