Our vacation cabin is secluded, yet not far from the small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. A small and cozy cabin, with one bedroom with a double bed and a sleeping loft. The cabin is small and the sleeping loft is not with a full height so adults might find it cramped, so it might be better suited for a family of 4. This is the perfect base for visiting the South Coast of Iceland, with short driving distance to f.ex Fjarðárgljúfur, Skaftafell National Park and the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.

The location of the house is very remote so enjoy nature, bird life in peace and quiet with endless of view, the house itself is not new but we have made it more comfortable and are still upgrading:) And now that winter is coming this is perfect place for northern lights. Water is heated with electricity and lasts about 45min on full blast, and takes 4+ hours to heat up again.
