Supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and pharmacies are a 5 minute drive (20 minute walk) away in the town of Tolmin. The location is along the Italian border so you can visit Slovenian and Italian places which are accessible within an hour's drive: Soča river, Lipica, Postojnska and Škocjanska cave, Goriška Brda (wine region), Piran, Sistiana, Trieste, Grado, Venice.

Imagine peace & quiet, 100 metres from the road up a stone track, no immediate neighbours. (Owner lives onsite in the attic of house, separate entrance). Dark starry nights, moonlit or Milky Way, silent or animal sounds! Village life is a 10min meadow walk. In summer a cosy traditional bar/cafe serves home-cooked food.
