However our internet is fast :) One of our favorite amenities about our property is that we have a private hiking trail right in our backyard that is a 4 mile round trip hike to waterfalls. Aspen and Snowmass is about 30-45 min away. Downtown Basalt where you can find restaurants, gas and coffee shops is a 12 minute drive down the frying pan.

We are in the center of Colorado's mountain biking community with a 100 miles of single track. Also just down the interstate from Vail and Beaver Creek resorts. The views alone are worth the visit! Basalt's location is convenient to both ends of the Roaring Fork Valley. It is ten-minute walk along the Frying Pan River to downtown Basalt. However, transportation is recommended. We accept pets at the studio, either one large or 2 small; there is a $50 pet fee. Please let us know if you wish to bring yours. We ask that the pet be kennel if left behind while you go out. Obey Town of Basalt's leash and patrol ordinances. Drop cloths provided if they are allowed on furniture.
