The Barn in Shelburne

Completely renovated in 2024! Located at the end of a quarter mile driveway on a 60 acre oasis in the heart of Shelburne, the Barn has ski on ski off access to a groomed private cross country trail network, a swimming pond, views of the Adirondacks & Green Mtns and is 100% powered by solar energy. The Barn has a completely renovated kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, brand new queen & king mattresses, and a pull out couch (perfect for kids) We live next door & look forward to hosting you!

Cottontail Cottage - Peaceful yard & SAUNA

Quiet and peaceful cottage in a beautiful setting. Located on 6 acres adjacent to the Shelburne Pond Nature Reserve and only 15 min to the Church Street Marketplace in downtown Burlington. Enjoy the sunrise over the hills behind the cottage and sunsets over the Adirondacks to the west. Sit in the chairs or chaise lounge in the private backyard listening to the birds or relax in the shared sauna after a day of skiing or snowshoeing. (The sauna is available by reservation to ensure your privacy.)

About this Space Our cozy Studio Retreat is nestled in the woods on the 2nd floor of our detached garage, 5 min outside the charming village of Bristol. Bristol has several very good restaurants, shops, an art gallery and a library. You'll find hiking, biking trails and swimming. Middlebury is 15 min away and offers art galleries, breweries, a winery, shops, restaurants, hiking, skiing and more. Burlington is 45 min away, Sugarbush & Mad River Glen ski areas are just 30 min away. Lots to do!

The home is a 10 minute drive to downtown Burlington & the airport, and a short walk to the river, several cafes, restaurants, pubs, nature areas, and a brewery. Winooski is referred to as “the Brooklyn of Burlington” because of the foodie scene and rich cultural diversity.

Once a barn, carefully reconstructed on the owners’ property, and modernized to today’s standards, this post and beam cabin is warm and cosy in winter and cool in summer. Completed in 2013, the Guesthouse perfectly complements the 1871 Victorian home to which it is attached. Located on Main Street in historic Vergennes, Vermont, our home is one of several fine examples of the architecture of the 19th Century that grace our City. Our thriving downtown is a short walk away, boasting exceptional dining and shopping opportunities. Vergennes is a 20-minute drive away from Middlebury College, and 45 minutes from Burlington.
