Cosy yet contemporary, this architect designed, free standing townhouse in historical South Hobart is filled with sun, art and views of kunanyi (Mt Wellington). Although surrounded by popular cafes and shops, The Loft is quiet and private. Situated near the stunning Hobart Rivulet, it's an easy 15-20 min walk or 10 min ride to the CBD. Or cycle/walk the other way to the Cascade Brewery.

We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

巷弄隐居之所

Our architect designed, garden roof cabin was built in 2020 to take in views across they valley to knocklofty. North facing the sun warms this house with the passive solar design maintaining a steady temperature. To complement this there is a wood fire for grey days and a sliding door and bifold windows for hot ones. Ply lining and exposed rafters give the house a cabin feel creating a retreat feeling. Different outdoor spaces provide great options to soak in the sun and neighbourhood.

山景客栈

Our Guest home is nestled in the foothills of Mount Wellington and is only minutes to the CBD by bus . The free standing house is one bedroom with a queen bed and has a double sofa inner spring bed in the living room, a spare single mattress bed is also available for extra people. Although the house can accommodate 5 people, the house is quite small and is not really suitable for 5 adults if you need lots of space, Families with kids will manage OK just don't expect heaps of extra space.

Bathroom with bath and seperate shower. Quality stylish furnishings have been used throughout. 1 bedroom downstairs, 2 upstairs attic bedrooms are interconnecting. The garden is established and fenced for pets to stay. A short stroll to the cafes, hikes/walks and quaint shops of south Hobart.

Explore nearby hiking trails and unwind by the crackling fireplace in the evenings. Perfect for couples looking to reconnect with nature, our cottage promises a rejuvenating experience amidst beautiful surroundings. Just a short 10-minute drive from Hobart, the location seamlessly blends city convenience with the tranquility of the mountain.

The Bakehouse - 特色 - 历史 - 便利

The bake house is a unique historical building circa 1880 that has been converted into contemporary accomodation. It is part of a precinct of three buildings, all relating the same function of supporting "Watson's" Bakery in the shop facing Macquarie street (now a funky homewares shop). You get to enjoy a three bedroom house. Three bedrooms upstairs with a bathroom and toilet, living kitchen, dining and laundry downstairs. You have your own private courtyard with a picnic setting.
