Brew some coffee and step out into a tiered hillside garden and have a seat on deck patio of this enchanting hideaway. Charming interiors feature terra-cotta tile floors, eclectic artworks, and traditional furnishings, forging a laid-back atmosphere. Check out the Accessibility pictures for the lay of the land! Note: the TV is an Apple TV to be used with your subscriptions. The studio is the entire bottom floor of a 3 story house. It has its own separate access through the garden and is completely private from the rest of the house. A bathroom, kitchenette, dining/study area are included within your studio space. Laundry and Apple TV available upon request. Garden space and access is shared. Enjoy the deck and outdoor dining and lounging facilities as well as a gorgeous sunset view of LA. The entire bottom floor of the house is yours. Garden access is shared, as are the laundry machines in the main house. We are available at all times by phone, text or email. Bordering the neighborhoods of Eagle Rock and Highland Park, the area has an understated charm and offers an array of vibrant restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. Old Town Pasadena, a retail hub with charming eateries, is a short drive away. It is a 0.4 mile distance to the nearest bus stop on La Loma and Figueroa. (about a 10 minute walk from the apartment) The 81 Bus can take you to the Gold Line Metro in Highland Park in less than 15 min. The Gold Line runs between Pasadena and Downtown, where you can transfer to other trains. Please let us know if you would like an Apple TV set up for your arrival or at any point during your stay.

Trader Joes is 1 block away.

Artist SamJia insists on the idea that art changes life. In his opinion, each Airbnb should give guests a different experience.Sam modernized the historic house built in1940.The beautiful tropical rain forest wall painting is integrated with the lush plants outside the room. He arranged his collection of ancient furniture and lamps in the room, telling different stories. He also put a set of very precious "Year books" .The house is on the south side of 210 and was not affected by wildfire.

Cozy traditional 1920s California bungalow, complete with a Batchelder fireplace, tucked behind the main house built in 1903 by famed architect Frederick Roehrig. Centrally located off of Orange Grove Blvd. Walk to the Rose Parade, the Arroyo Seco, Huntington Hospital, Art Center South Campus, and Old Pasadena. A brisk walk will take you to the Rose Bowl, Gamble House, or the Wrigley Mansion. The Huntington Library is only a short drive away.
