In the middle of a working dairy farm, you will find yourself in a beautiful, private and restful setting. The house has been designed with your ultimate comfort in mind with spacious bedrooms, bathrooms & living areas, tastefully decorated, a relaxing outdoor bath and all the amenities you could need. We also love to treat all our guests to home made & local produce.

Takapoto Estate, is a 600 acre property that sits on Lake Karapiro. A park that accommodates vineyards, a market garden, resident bees, a year round pantry for the birds of Maungatautari mountain, livestock, a horse breeding program, and equestrian training and competition facilities. All this sits in amongst swathes of rejuvenated bush and kilometres of walkways that take you on enchanted journeys and reveal tranquil vistas. The restoration of the land is the foundation of the project.

A spacious self-contained unit in a tranquil rural setting. Close to the Hobbiton Movie Set, local Tirau cafes and shops, golf courses and the township of Matamata. Relax amidst mature trees, beautiful gardens and the sounds of tuis and fantails. This unique lifestyle property will leave you feeling refreshed & revitalised. Bridgehaven Guesthouse is centrally located in the Waikato region and is easily accessed from SH27 or SH1. Only a short trip to Tauranga, Karapiro or Rotorua.

This peaceful location is a 2 min to Waikato River trails. We are on the reserve so you get a beautiful view of the domain to Maungatautari Mountain. Relax in the bath tub after a day on the trails or visiting the many nearby attractions. The Rhubarb Cafe is a few minutes walk. Arapuni Suspension Bridge is in front of the property, you can hear the river from the deck. Jones Landing, Lake Karapiro, Lake Arapuni, Maungatautari Mountain, and Blue Springs are all a short drive.

You need to have a break on your way north or south? Rest up at our brand new self-contained unit in quiet, rural setting, just outside Tirau. Only 25 minutes to Hobbiton, 15 min. to amazing Waihou Blue Springs and 2 minutes to Tirau, with unique coffee shops and lovely boutique stores. We have just moved in next door ourselves, and are still finishing the landscaping around our lovely home. Come and repose!
