Balsam Hollow Cabin

Balsam Hollow is a newly built, charming rustic cabin that was created from the heart for our family, friends and you. From the all-wood exterior and interior, to the log railings in the loft, staircase and covered porch with wrap-around deck, our mission is to give our guests a true Adirondack Experience. Surrounded by nature, secluded and private, yet centrally located to Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, and Rainbow Lake with 25 miles of connecting waterways. You will find a snow shoe trail and cross country skiing on our 10 acres. Outside grill and fire pit. With our tankless water system you will have an endless supply of hot water to enjoy! Even though we are tucked off the beaten trail we are close to so much adventure! There are multiple trail heads close by, ice skating (pond style or rinks including the Olympic Oval in Lake Placid), Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, Bobsled rides, Toboggan Shoot, Sled Dog rides, Boating, Canoeing, Mountain Beaches, Swimming Holes, White Water Rafting, Hiking, Mountain Biking, and so much more! Saranac River Ranch - Farm Stay

Moving into the Spring season here on farm. Time for the Goats to be kidding and planting the veggies in the high tunnel. Plenty of great trails to hike and biking on the rail trail and the opening of the Pendragon Theatre downtown. The Saranac River Ranch is located on a 25 acre farm and cold pressed juicery. You can have access to farm fresh breakfast packages, local food and healthy juices during your stay - you may even choose to do one of our popular juice cleanses while you're here!

The house is situated in a lovely meadow with mountains surrounding it. It's 2 miles to Downtown Saranac Lake.
