This charming cottage, home of Old Jack in the BBC children’s series Old Jack’s Boat starring Bernard Cribbins, looks out across red pantiled rooftops on the old village, the fishing boats in the beck, and the open sea beyond. Cosy, characterful and full of history, it’s perfect for a relaxing coastal escape or walking holiday, with the Cleveland Way running right past the door.

Boiling House is a truly unique, beck side property located in Staithes. The original building has been an integral part of village fishing heritage for many years. Where the log burner now sits, the original boiling tanks sat, a real piece of history. It benefits from double height ceilings, to create a real feeling of space, and is split level with only three steps between floors. As the only property in the village with french doors opening onto the beck side, it really is a place to savour.

The cottage retains many original features but has lovingly been brought into the 21st century with its warm and inviting decor. Situated on a pedestrianised cobbled street, the cottage is a stones throw away from the the beach, harbour, river and High St and a mere 30 second walk to pubs, cafes and art galleries. A magical escape awaits!

Cosy and quirky, this 2 bedroomed cottage has all the features and character of an old Fishermans cottage but with plenty of today's modern comforts. Just off one of the narrow Stathian ginnels right behind the harbour, It's a stones throw from the beach, pubs and shops. Even though it’s about as central as you can get it’s tucked away with its own courtyard well away from passers by.

It's close to the Beck where you can watch the boats come and go and a short walk to the sea. It has been sensitively converted and comfortably furnished with everything you need for a perfect stay.
