Regularly stayed in and painted by artists, this charming 17th Century cruck-beamed fisherman's cottage is quaint and cosy with an open fire-ideal for a romantic getaway / walking holiday. This cottage is all about the view! Beach-side location at the base of the 199 steps - perfect for exploring the beautiful historic town of Whitby. Browse in the eclectic independent shops and sample the finest seafood in the local eateries. Walk up to the abbey, stroll along the piers and collect fossils from the beach, take a ride on the steam train to the neighbouring villages and explore the moors. Please note due to the beach side location of the cottage, there is unfortunately no parking.

Cosy quirky 1 bedroom holiday cottage with stunning views of the sea with own garden & log burner. NB .. the bedroom is in the eaves so limited head room & accessed by reasonably narrow staircase/shower room is downstairs (therefore not suitable to elderly or tall people due to the limited headroom / due to size of the bedroom it is only a double bed). Situated on the Cleveland Way this is a perfect spot for walking & within walking distance to the lovely harbour village of Staithes (25 mins)

This beautiful former fisherman’s cottage dating back to the 1800’s is situated in the heart of the quaint village of Staithes. It has been tastefully renovated, but many of it’s original features remain. Situated on the high street just a few strides away from the beach and the Cod & Lobster pub, where you can enjoy a homemade meal and friendly atmosphere. This cosy cottage has a homely feel, perfect for relaxing in front of the fire after exploring the Yorkshire Coast and North York Moors.

Atcot Cottage has been our own special sanctuary for years but is now available for holidays and short breaks. A Grade II Listed, 18th Century smugglers cottage retaining lots of original features, it has been lovingly restored to provide luxury accommodation for 4 people. Compact and cosy, tucked away down a little alleyway, it is a perfect holiday location for getting away from it all. Only 200 yards to the harbour and beach and well placed for exploring the lovely North Yorkshire Coast.

Coastguard Cottage is a 3 bedroom stone built cottage set over 4 floors, with period features like cast iron fireplaces in bedrooms and a feature cast iron cooking range. We of course have an electric/halogen oven/hob and a dishwasher, Smart LCD TV and soundbar in Lounge, and small smart TV in Kitchen, along with Fast BT Infinity broadband. Coastguards offers comfortable living in a spacious and well equipped house in the heart of the old village, close to the boats, shops, cafes and pubs.

Very special, cosy, really tiny ,stone cottage nestled in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park near Whitby. The Nest has a Log burner, central heating, WIFI,smart TV, Egyptian linen and twinkling fairy lights ,. Walks onto the moors from the front door , seating area outside to watch the sun go down with a large glass of wine, welcoming family pub across the road, Co-op, and fine dining pub also in the village. Train station to Whitby from the village. We welcome two dogs at the Nest.

A warm welcome to Dunsley Cottage in the heart of Staithes. Dunsley is a beautiful fisherman's cottage, built in 1871 it is oozing with Victorian charm. The cottage retains many original features but has lovingly been brought into the 21st century with its warm and inviting decor. Situated on a pedestrianised cobbled street, the cottage is a stones throw away from the the beach, harbour, river and High St and a mere 30 second walk to pubs, cafes and art galleries. A magical escape awaits!

With ample room for relaxing after a day of exploring - it’s the perfect space to relax and unwind. There are 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 , including a generous master on the 1st floor, a large double and twin bedded room on the 2nd floor. With a newly refurbished house bathroom and spacious kitchen the cottage is perfect for couples and families.

Two minutes walk from the famous Cod & Lobster pub and eatery. Sleeps 2 The cottage used to be the communal bakery where the womenfolk would bring their dough to be baked You will find yourself immersed in the history of this quaint old village once home to Captain James Cook, artist Dame Laura Knight, and countless smugglers.

This self contained holiday cottage offers a chance to get closer to the workings of a family dairy farm. It is situated in the North York Moors National Park, midway between the moors and the coast and just a fifteen minute drive (or slightly longer bus ride) from Whitby. The accomodation is unusually spacious for a one bedroomed cottage, it is light, warm and very well insulated but don’t forget there is the potential for noise and smells from the farm!
