Desert Wild is a two bedroom, two bathroom oasis with a pool and hot tub located in the safe residential neighborhood of South Joshua Tree. We are a 10 minute drive from the West entrance of Joshua Tree National park and a 5 minute drive to the downtown shops, cafes and galleries. Desert Wild is a place to unwind, relax and enjoy the slow pace of the desert. We invite you to cool off in our pool after hiking, soak in our bath and enjoy the cactus garden, or star gaze from our hot tub at night.

The Cottage @ Sanctuary Cove, 80 acres of serenity

A secluded getaway, Sanctuary Cove's Guest Cottage is surrounded by 80 acres of pristine Southwest Desert. Stewarded by a religious non-profit, Sanctuary Cove is a place of respite from the happenings of modern life. The property has hiking trails, easy access to less explored areas of Saguaro National Park, a non-denominational chapel for prayer and meditation, an amphitheater overlooking the Tucson Valley, and a traditional labyrinth. Shekinah Hermitage: Peace at the Forest’s Edge

Shekinah Hermitage is at 8000ft. overlooking the Cibola N. F. This unique cabin looks into a canyon to the north, and eastward over the San Agustin Plains. Surrounded by juniper and pinion trees, it is very remote. Windows all around give the feel of being outdoors but the solid structure is immovable in high winds. Inside is all you need including limited solar-battery 120V electricity. There is an attached bathroom with a sawdust composting toilet. Outside a high deck offers stunning views.

We are a 10 minute drive to local hot spots, & less than 15 minutes to downtown Joshua Tree. The cabin sits on 5 acres with 360 pano views, dark stargazing skies, breathtaking sunrises + sunsets, and endless desert beauty. This cabin was reimagined for those looking to reset and reconnect to their wildish nature.

Time Capsule in the Sonoran Desert

Time Capsule is a unique experience in an space age module dropped in the middle of an 11 acres desert sanctuary and sculpture park, adjacent to the Saguaro National Park. Enjoy the quietness of the desert in a safe environment located at just 35 minutes from downtown Tucson. Because of the refinement of the interior design we cannot accept any pet, service animal, nor children in the Time Capsule. Please note that check in is in person only and not later than 10:00PM. No exception!
