A peaceful, rural location in a beautiful area surrounded by farmland. The accommodation is a self-contained private annexe attached to our home with an entrance exclusively for guests’ use. Two bedrooms with double beds, bath/shower room plus kitchenette/diner with access and views over our flower garden. Basic breakfast included. Superfast Wifi. Excellent walking/cycling from the house. Well placed for visits to Cotswold villages, Bath, Bristol, Gloucester and Cheltenham by car or by train.

A bright and recently modernised grade 1 listed Cotswold stone cottage, 100 yards from the Cotswold Way with breathtaking views down the Stroud Valley, its own parking and secluded outdoor eating. Filled with natural light, it is very peaceful and extremely comfortable with luxury bedding (super king or twin bed) and kitchen. An idyllic spot for walking, cycling, exploring the local scenery or simply escaping the city Painswick is 10 minutes from Stroud ( 87 mins hourly train to London).

Parking is to the front of the property, if this is limited then there is a free car park in the village 300m away.

High ceilings and large shuttered windows give the accommodation a light and airy feel. Sans Souci is a bespoke Shepherd's hut, lovingly hand built to an incredibly high spec. Completed in April 2021, it has a double bed, and double sofa bed. There is a well-equipped kitchen, a shower room with sink and compost toilet, and a log burning stove. There are far reaching views of the Cotswold hills, which can be taken in from the South-facing deck. Enjoy al fresco meals, cooking over the fire pit in the garden or walks galore in the local countryside.

The Potting Shed is a contemporary wooden garden studio nestled at the bottom of my 100 metre garden, located next to a natural woodland area. It is accessed via a key safe and has its own private garden to the rear, which is a haven for natural wildlife including many birds and animals. The garden has a fire pit which guests are welcome to use. Marshmallows provided on request!

The generous suite offers a large living area with a gas log burner, 2 large TV's, a large bedroom with super-king bed, ensuite bathroom with separate shower and bath. A breakfast hamper can be purchased after booking is confirmed.

There is a trail riding centre next door ( booking required ) It is definitely best to have a car although the local bus has a stop approx. half a mile away. We live next door and can give any information on the local area .
