New for 2021...We had a baby! This may mean some additional noise as we live upstairs. We added extra sound insulation when we renovated.

Our property is within walking distance to so many amenities: Public Transit, Gibsons Park Plaza and all the Restaurants & Storefronts along the 101 Hwy. Walking distance to the beach and many trails. 1km walk to the ocean or 3km along a quiet country road to the quaint village of Roberts Creek. A 10 minute drive to the seaside towns of Gibsons and Sechelt where there are many boutiques, cafes and restaurants. There are many great biking trails easily accessible.

Gough Creek Cabin is a timber frame, studio cabin that is nestled in the old-growth rainforests of xwesam (Roberts Creek) on BC's Sunshine Coast. The cabin overlooks a beautiful mossy creek and is located at the gateway to world-class mountain biking, hiking and many villages, cafes and breweries. We are located 20 minutes from Langdale Ferry Terminal, 15 minutes from both Sechelt and Gibsons, and 5 minutes from the lovely Roberts Creek village.

The Hideout

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.

The cottage is accessible just off the Sunshine Coast Highway and is a one hour drive from the Langdale Ferry Terminal. You'll be greeted with a stellar view of the ocean in Bargain Bay and literally steps from the swimmable beach. It's the perfect way to relax and be surrounded by nature.
