Bungalhigh with Swimming Cove

Charming cottage called "Bungalhigh" with 1 bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room and wrap around porch, located on a swimming cove with view of Blue Hill Mountain and the ocean, a half mile from Blue Hill village. Pet-friendly, Netflix, Internet. Nearby is a 2nd cottage, "Bungalow", which is rented out separately and simultaneously. Guests walk in front of Bungalhigh and share yard & cove. Swimming & Kayaks. This property is dog friendly. We might be best for guests travelling with pets.

Acadia National Park ocean front & garden cottages

Both our houses are designed in the contemporary style. We used custom made decor and cherry tree furniture. A lot of windows, glass doors, bright and open space are inside the house. It is very quiet outside. You most likely will be alone at the beach. We share the whole sea cove with only one neighboring house. It is a pure paradise if you want to live on the beach on your own and within minutes of driving to the main local attractions. You'll be amazed of our botanical garden and landscape.

This cozy, quiet cabin is the perfect retreat. Enjoy a brand new, spacious kitchen with all the amenities. Bike or drive to Carrying Place Beach and the local lobster shack. Soak in the outdoor hot tub. Enjoy the views of Acadia National Park to the East. 25 mile drive to MDI. Jack is also a licensed boat Captain through the U.S. Coast Guard and offers a discounted sail charter to our guests aboard our 36 ft. Catalina, Luna. Or hop on our lobster boat to watch the sunrise over Acadia!

We are located very close to historic Castine and Maine Maritime Academy, and about one hours drive from Acadia National Park.

This beautiful, light-filled cottage on waterfront property on the western side of Mount Desert Island has picturesque views of the Mount Desert Narrows and access to a private pebble beach. The house is on very secluded wooded property for a nice private getaway. All you will hear are the sounds of birds and waves lapping up on the beach. Just a short drive to all that Acadia National Park has to offer!
