A serene 6 minute walk to historic Taos plaza from this private and pastoral downtown 1Bd/1bath casita. On a dead end street off of Valverde, near Sunset Park, Kit Carson Park, restaurants, coffee and yoga, Taos Library and Hanuman temple. Hear the church bells from Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Super fast internet Pet friendly!!!- We warmly accept dogs. (No Cats). Located in the world-famous Greater World Earthship Community, this modern off-grid home is one of a kind! Built by hand over 8 years by me, your host, Kirsten. This sustainable house is bright, light, and airy with clean lines and unique details. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. The inside is dark adobe with gold straw, with flagstone floors, and rustic Sycamore Oak beams. 3 kivas fireplaces too! It's been used as a recording studio too, If you like taking awesome photographs, this is THE place. Cozy, comforting! Pets are welcome and must be leashed! Cat box provided by request!
