Nestled in the hills our 1 bedroom cottage is the perfect getaway. With your own kitchen, full bathroom (shower) and a spacious lounge w/ fireplace, you'll have everything you need. Breathtaking views, gorgeous sunsets and stunning sunrises are plenty. The famous Te Apiti Wind Farm of the Manawatu can be seen from most parts of the property, along with the picturesque hills, old sheds and lush vegetation. Not to mention, it's a bird's paradise. Our home is set on the city boundary just 8 minutes from the City Centre, 5 minutes from Palmerston North Hospital, 15 minutes to Massey University and very well positioned for walking, tramping and biking tracks around the Manawatu . Our modern home is on 2.5 acres and surrounded by open countryside with great views to the windmills and just outside the apartment, we have a lovely Highland cow named Toffee who shares the paddock with some Wiltshire sheep, an interesting self shearing breed.

Country seclusion

This accomodation is in a secluded country area but only 15mins from the centre of Palmerston North city and only 5 minutes from the Palmerston North air port. The dwelling consists of an open plan kitchen dining lounge area, a seperate bedroom with a queen size bed and a seperate bathroom consisting of a toilet shower and vanity unit. There is also a fold out couch in the lounge which turns into a double bed .We have chocolate lab dog Tui who roams freely around the property and is friendly

Stoneridge Farmstay is a peaceful drystock farm where you can enjoy the stunning rolling landscape of the Tararua region. Old Cellar Door Farm Stay

The Old Cellar Door Farmstay was originally the wine tasting room for the Pohangina Valley Estate vineyard. Set on a working sheep farm with a view of the Ruahine range, the farmstay is private and spacious with a wood burner for those chilly nights. Close to owners house for help if required. Friendly goats and free range chickens. Close to Palmerston North and Feilding. Enjoy the many walks/cycling nearby and other activities. Short walk to the river with a popular swimming hole.

Takapau Yurt Experience

Situated in the side garden by the main house on a privately owned sheep farm (42 acres). Stunning views across the valley from behind the yurt and mountain views from the beautiful native garden surrounding the house. Guest bathroom is inside the main house. Breakfast is included and dinner is available at request and additional charge from my fully licenced food truck. Local superette 5mins drive away in the village, several nearby bush walks and wineries within a 15 min drive.

Kakariki Cottage Eketahuna

Come and enjoy a quiet weekend away on our farm, so much to do , Enjoy the scenery of our farm nestled at the base of the Tararua ranges or go for a trout fish/ swim in the Mangahao river. Or u could do absolutely nothing and enjoy the piece and quiet. The iconic tui brewery is a great place for lunch and a refreshment and also Pukaha Mt Bruce is an amazing wildlife reserve is well worth a visit with the kids - both are within 25 mins from the cottage

'Brookfields'-Farm stay Hideaway

Set in an idyllic setting, this lifestyle block is only 10 minutes from Feilding but feels like a world away! At Brookfields you can retreat to the farm and also enjoy the native bush walks and Makino stream. You can also feed the sheep, ducks and pigs and play with the dogs! The September lambs are very cute. Have a massage with therapeutic grade essential oils and tuning forks, a special treat. This whole property is smoke free!

The Cottage

A private self contained cottage in a rural setting. This restored 1930's cottage is very cosy and comfortable. A heat pump is available for those chilly nights. The Cottage is located on a lifestyle block approximately 14 km from the centre of Palmerston North. The cottage looks out over a pond and paddocks with ducks and sheep. Guest access is by keypad on the main entry gate to the property.
