It is the most private shack in the bay and was lovingly restored in 2018 By Matthew & Claire using both sourced and up-cycled materials. The essence of the shack is simple, light & cosy with attention to details & stunning water views. This is truly a magical place, the perfect retreat for one to two people.

Minimalism, simplicity and luxury combine to create an experience you will always remember, whether it be a romantic getaway, a relaxing retreat to recharge or a base to explore the magnificence of Bruny Island.

After arriving on popular Bruny island it is a joy to leave the crowd behind as you wind down the private road through towering trees to the shores of sheepwash bay. Designed with couples in mind the shack is the perfect place for relaxation and romance. Set on the waterfront, in a national park like setting it offers an intimate retreat to call home during your exploration of Bruny Island. Home to the bruny baker you will awaken to the smell of sourdough baking .
