Happy Nest is an apartment which is half of the main house at NutGarden. The house has been partitioned to make two residences. Happy Nest contains a bedroom, a large living area, a kitchen and shower/toilet. There is a double sofa bed in the living space as well as the double bed in the bedroom. The house was built by owner/ host Kim Clark who lives on the property with his partner Chintana. The spectacular location is in the rainforest of the World Heritage Region of the Great Western Tiers

Tamar Rest

This stylish, spacious, one bedroom suite provides privacy and comfort. You can lie in bed and take in the panoramic views across beautiful kanamaluka/Tamar River to the hills beyond and the glittering lights of the city at night. Enjoy a local vino on the patio in summer or in front of the cosy wood fire in winter whilst watching for wallabies, cute little pademelons or our resident echidna. National Park is located in the upper Derwent Valley. The accomodation is 5min drive to Mt Field National Park. Maydena bike park just a 15min drive up the road. There is an abundance of beautiful walks with a selection of river valleys, waterfalls and giant trees.

It is 5 minutes drive from the nearest little township, Nubeena, and provides a perfect base for exploring all that the Tasman Peninsula has to offer. The house yard is well-fenced and secure and well-behaved dogs are welcome, but not any other pets. (Note: there is further information below regarding bringing your dog(s). Please read it before making your booking.)

We are situated 1 hour drive from Hobart, on the Huon River Estuary. The ambience of the property is a secluded, rural, actual waterfront acreage. Guests may enjoy the pebble beach and rock pools together with the private jetty for fishing. We have a secure fenced area adjacent to the chalet suitable for well-behaved pets.
