With direct, private access to the Great Valley Trail and the Ovens River, The Barn provides luxurious bespoke accommodation and complimentary mountain bikes for your stay. Located on 10 acres, The Barn is an outbuilding to the family home, along with our farm stay, The Stables. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to skiing and snow boarding at Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, a short 45 minute drive away. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

Formally High Country Lavender. This unique and tranquil experience, your mud brick cottage set on a lavender farm with sunsets and fantastic views in all direction. Only a 5min drive into Bright where you have fine dining, shops and fun activities. The Ovens river, autumn colour, cycling, golf and walking tracks, Mount Buffalo and its historic chalet are also nearby. With a well equipped kitchen and BBQ on your own veranda. The brightest stars at night and a very private mountain stream.

We have tried to make a home away from home for you to enjoy. The house is not new and angular but older, mature, softened and comforting. If you are looking for old fashioned relaxation with comfy beds, sunny corners, throw rugs, books to read and DVDS to watch, this might be for you.

Enjoy a relaxing weekend get away where you can take in the fresh air and spectactular alpine views. Whether it's summer, autumn, winter or spring there is plenty to do- walks, hikes, mountain bike riding, horse riding, river swimming, rafting, skiing, snowboarding and taboggining. There are some excellent wineries in the surrounding areas to visit. Mount Beauty township is a short 2km walk or bike ride away.

Our home is a north facing, solar passive, eco friendly home with uninterrupted views over the dairy flats to Mount Bogong (Victoria’s highest mountain) and the Great Dividing Range.
