The Skylight Chalet

Explore 35+ wooded acres surrounded by national forest in Rockies looking at the stars through the skylights. The Skylight Chalet is quite small but ideal for couples, friends, & solo travelers to relax and adventure in a restored building in nature <15 mins from downtown Salida. We designed the Skylight Chalet with two queen beds, a covered outdoor deck, and a hanging table surrounded by glass for 4 to eat. We've worked hard designing the Skylight Chalet. Our cabin is one of a kind. Isolated with easy access, it is located outside Leadville-10,200 feet, between the Sawatch and Mosquito ranges, with stunning views of both. Licensed through the Land County Land Use License #2025-P12, allowing 4 guests only. Please DO NOT bring additional guests. No cleaning fee. Winter guests: Easy access to town. The county plows the road, still we recommend AWD or 4WD for all winter travel. Please read “other things to note” before booking.
