There are a variety of activities to choose from, including ATV riding, hiking, fishing, and biking. You can also visit the local restaurants, historic theater, shops, and colleges. One hundred year old farm house that is newly renovated on 16 acres of Appalachian hardwood forest and pasture land and situated just 2.5 miles from the Hatfield and McCoy Trail System and 30 minutes to Winterplace. Located centrally between the cities Bluefield and Princeton, while being conveniently located two miles from Bluewell and just six miles from historic Bramwell, WV.

Located approximately 6 minutes to War, WV and HMT trailhead. A Short, nice ride to the Wilmore Dam, and to High Rocks. NEW ADDITIONAL PARKING FOR LARGE TRAILERS across the street from the Cottage. In addition to approximately 50 ft. in front, 40 ft. in back, 30 ft. on the side of the cottage. SEE PARKING PHOTOS. We are on Rt 16, part of the ”Head of the Dragon” Motorcycle Riding Route in Caretta, WV. You will have easy on/off access to “Warrior Trail” from Caretta or War.
