The Treehouse: Off-grid Retreat

Shaded in a canopy of macrocarpa trees at the base of Mt Taranaki national park, The Treehouse is a grown-up childhood sanctuary. Built from recycled materials, a repurposed spiral staircase takes you up the multiple levels of The Treehouse to a secluded living space nestled between the trees. Kick back in the canopy, swoop on the swings or shoot down the slide. This self-contained treehouse is powered by renewable energy and is only a short drive to New Plymouth, local beaches and the mountain.

A warm well insulated room with comfortable king size bed, around the deck to the shower, toilet and out door bath. Enjoy a wonderful relax in the bath with bubbles and a choice of fairy lights or the vastness of a starlit sky. All linen provided. Gas hot water. All water is town supply. Oak Tree Hut

Rustic built wooden hut on our hillside rural property. One comfy single bed . Breakfast prep corner. Toilet & shower is at the main house which has its own seperate entrance & will be shared with any other guests occupying the other larger Cabin . Parking area. Outside of the Main house there’s a cooking area , 2 gas points, pots,pans, double sink to wash up. The Internet is available in this area not inside the Hut. There’s some instant coffee, tea black& herbal , instant soup in the Hut.
