Water front log cabin on Douglas Lake

The cabin is a turn of the century Appalachian log home, with all the amenities and conveniences that make life comfortable. We are just off the the main corridor heading in to the Smoky's and surrounding attractions. The cabin sits on a 4 acre knoll on Douglas Lake...this is truly a Mountain and Lake vacation! With 600 miles of shoreline to explore, this cabin is a destination unto itself. This cabin is a living museum to our Appalachian history that remind guests of simpler times and ways.

The Blair House at Normandy

Enjoy a private suite in a two-story historic home built in 1900 and nestled in the scenic hills of south-central Tennessee. Nearby attractions include the George Dickel and Jack Daniels distilleries and rustic small towns with antiques, handmade crafts, and country dining. FULL DISCLOSURE: If you're a light sleeper, we're located near a mainline railroad crossing with some trains passing through at night. There's also frequent vehicle traffic passing nearby to and from a popular scenic lake.

Beautiful Farmhouse 180 Acres on Caney Fork River

This magnificent farmhouse has 5 bedrooms and 3 baths and is located on 180 acre farm directly on the Caney Fork River. It is very isolated and the view from the wrap around porch is spectacular. See wildlife like deer, turkey and bold eagles. It has almost a half mile of river frontage. Easy access to the river with a boat launch. Wonderful river frontage with a canopy of trees which make walking and hiking wonderful. A natural rock bar that allows for fishing or relaxing in the water.

This quiet retreat perched on the Cumberland Plateau was recently featured in Travel + Leisure and gives you access to the hikes and waterfalls the area is known for, while offering an elevated experience. Enjoy the soaking tub, gas fireplace, fast wifi, Smart TV, well-appointed kitchen, and bluff views. Sewanee University, Cumberland Caverns, Fiery Gizzard, and Sweetens Cove are all within a short drive.

Cozy Lakefront Cottage with Mountain Views

Come relax & enjoy our charming cottage on the main channel of Douglas Lake. Experience breathtaking sunsets, lakeside bonfires, & refreshing dips in the cool water. Please note, the water level is highest from May-August. This home accommodates 4 adults max & 3 children. The dock does NOT have water at it during winter/early spring drawdown (typically Oct–April). Guests can still walk to the shoreline. Drought can effect levels as it’s a dam system.
