This house was designed and furnished to provide all that guests will need to enable them to simply relax and enjoy their vacation on the beach. This luxury rental has a fully equipped kitchen vacationers can use to make quick breakfasts, full dinners or evening snacks. We will do a brief walk thru to show you the ins and outs of the operation of the property. It will not take longer than 15 minutes. We will then leave you alone for the rest of your stay :). IF we can not greet you, we will leave the house manual on the kitchen island including the WiFi code and other instructions. Puerta Del Mar is an exclusive gated community south of Rosarito and north of Ensenada. There are plenty of oceanfront restaurants and other activities within 10 minutes. The one bedroom, one bath unit was recently remodeled (in 2017) and includes all new kitchen, bathroom, full size laundry and air conditioning. The large 400 square foot private deck has new outdoor furniture with views of Mission Bay and gorgeous sunsets year round. Enjoy a show on the 50" 4K LG smart TV in the living room which offers Netflix, Amazon Video, and major network TV stations. Cook a delicious meal in the kitchenette complete with a mini-fridge/freezer, microwave, electric stove top, coffeemaker, and more. If you plan to head to the beach, the storage ottoman is secretly a "beach box" containing a couple of folding chairs, beach toys, towels and a small cooler. The unit is stocked with coffee, shampoo, conditioner, laundry supplies, iron, and more. Filtered water is provided via a faucet on the kitchen sink. Easy check-in via a numeric keypad on the front door with the code provided prior to arrival. Plenty of street parking is available. We love meeting new people and live next door in the main house so we are available most anytime. We are both from San Diego and still love to explore the latest new spots so we are happy to give recommendations. Bay Park is a great central neighborhood originally built in the early 1940s. It was recently voted the most livable neighborhood in a recent San Diego poll. Check out the restaurants on Morena Boulevard, which are just a few minutes' walk away or explore all of the major attractions of San Diego easily. The house has easy access to I-5 and is only 10-15 mins from downtown, Sea World, the San Diego Zoo and the airport. The private guest house is located across from Mission Bay and within walking distance to bay, market, restaurants and coffee shops. Uber/Lyft is $8 to $14 to most of San Diego's main attractions. There is a bit of white noise from the highway down the hill near Mission Bay when out on the deck but nothing too bad, just worthy of mention. The unit has double paned vinyl windows so it's quiet indoors.

The views in our house are absolutely spectacular! The location is central to great restaurants, downtown SD, SeaWorld, and bay beaches where you can kayak or paddle board. It is a ideal choice for vacations and for business travelers looking for a comfortable place to call home while traveling. Entire House, 3 Patios, and parking for car in garage and driveway We like to stay out of our guests way during their stay, but we will always be accessible either via phone call or text; but if you are so relaxed and you don't want to expend energy to text or call, merely ring the wifi doorbell and it will connect to our cell phone and we can address any questions you may have. The mid-century modern house sits on the side of a hill in the La Playa neighborhood of Point Loma, overlooking the harbor. It is a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of the harbor, beach, nice restaurants, and amenities. Please note 24 hours before arrival, we will provide you a door code you can use to enter the home, the same code locks the home when you come and go during your stay.
