Arrowsmith Cottage-Oak Bluffs Near Eastville Beach

Welcome to Arrowsmith Cottage! This is a great one bedroom apartment on the second floor of a house. My place is close to the beach, public transport, the Steamship Authority ferry, Black Dog Tavern, Main Street Vineyard Haven, Stop & Shop grocery, and lots of great shopping. You’ll love the convenience! Walk to the apartment right off the ferry boat. Lots to do in walking distance, and onsite parking. The Martha's Vineyard Museum is a 5 minute walk, down the same street. My place is great for couples and solo adventurers.

Location is private, yet it's close to the 3 largest towns on Martha's Vineyard. Great for couples, families (with kids), and big groups. Enjoy dinner with the indoor/outdoor Sonos music system during a beautiful sunset! NOTE; Rate increase in high season, pool/spa is a combined unit & ONLY heated in summer!

We do recommend first time visitors rent or bring a car.

This quaint little cottage is located in the heart of East Chop, a neighborhood of Oak Bluffs. East Chop features the high, prominent bluffs that gave Oak Bluffs its name. A lighthouse, East Chop Light, stands at the north end of the chop on Telegraph Hill- only a five minute walk from the cottage. The cottage is a twelve minute walk to the harbor, and about a mile from the Oak Bluffs ferry! There is a public beach about 1/2 mile down the road. ***This space is not suitable for children

With access to spectacular private association ocean beach, Hancock Beach, on the island's south shore in Chilmark, this rental offers a complete Vineyard experience.

Gated 2br house with lots of different places to lounge and relax. Drive through the 10’ granite gate onto the shell driveway. The house is filled with art from local artist Alan Whiting, Colin Rule, Kara Taylor and Scott McDowell. There is so much to do and explore. The adventure is just starting so make sure to pack up your swimmers, suntan lotion and get out the door. Kick back and relax, you're home. Updated 7/25/2025 we do not have any more firewood on the property.

On site parking is available, or leave your car on the mainland and enjoy the easy walk from the ferry.
