Nestled in the mountains of Nagano at an elevation of 860 meters (2,821 feet), this is a luxury home exclusively for those who want to escape tourist traps, experience a side of Japan rarely seen by outsiders, and do it in style. Our 3-bedroom home is 200 sq. meters (2153 sq. feet) large and is a marriage between traditional Japanese architecture and modern technology and comfort. The home is accessible from Tokyo and other major cities via the Shinkansen bullet train or Joshin-etsu Expressway.

Renovated to be open, modern and spacious our chalet is only 20 minutes drive from Nagano City, Togakushi and Iizuna ski resorts. It is less than 5 minutes walk (or 1 min drive) to some cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter. We are 1080m above sea level, its cool in summer!

The Guest House Japan Asama was produced by the team used to work for a well known airline marketing team. The main concepts of the stay are "nature", "specious" and "hospitality". Guests can enjoy natural private onsens in the large size villa located in the national park. The private villa has 2 floors and each floor has over 120 square meters. The highlights of the villa are stone bath at inside of the villa and cypress bath at outside. Enjoy our natural onsen at both inside and outside!

Located in Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort, Bears House reopen in 2018/2019 winter after renovating its interior. The guest room which imaged North Europe is stylish and luxury. You can enjoy a good-quality resort experience at the best location that Uonuma plain can overlook. Deluxe condo is well equipped for groups, 2 families, and three generations. We have all the necessary equipment such as kitchen with IH heater, large shower booth, wash toilet, washbasin, washing machine, dryer.

This family-friendly and the newly renovated house is located in the very traditional district and the calm but convenience area in Nagano city. The house is authentic and unique as it was a traditional Japanese clothing (Kimono) shop before. You would feel like your own home away from home. 5 minutes walk to the Zenkoji temple and 4 minutes to the bus stop for Togakushi national park.

☆3 cars parking & 15min drive to Nozawa Onsen☆ Togari Cottage is a two-bedroom cabin at the edge of the village, looking out over snow-covered rice fields toward Mt Kosha and Mt Kenashi. The main room is open-plan — kitchen, dining, living — with big windows and a wood-pellet stove that makes coming in from the cold feel like exactly the right decision! Knowledgeable bilingual hosts!

KIRISIMIZU 客栈

“Maison d’hotes KIRISI MIZU”, is a Irimoya style (traditional Japanese house, similar to Temple) that has been beautifully restored from traditional materials and passed down from my grate-grand parents generation. The entire house is done in a classic style as used to be, except for a newly built kitchen, toilet and bathroom that provide all the necessities of modern life.
