This incredible space has been the inspirational hub for designing the most creative projects in Humboldt during the past 18 years. Now it has been reborn as an immersive space to enjoy the redwoods. Every inch has been thoughtfully designed to allow our guests to feel the enveloping majestic nature of the surrounding forest. Upon arrival, a golf cart awaits for your journey through the woods, to the upper landing of the raised boardwalk crossing over a seasonal creek bringing you to The Studio.

Whether you're cooking a homemade meal or relaxing with the ocean breeze, our cabins provide the perfect home-away-from-home for your seaside getaway.

Shore Acres Ocean View Cabin and Retreat Space

Step back in time and experience the best that Humboldt has to offer at the exceptionally preserved Shore Acres cottage. Set on a serene and completely private parcel, this unique property offers unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean and access to the Mad River frontage beach, as well as a private duck-stocked pond and local creek. Take a romantic stroll through the immaculately preserved grounds, and enjoy a sunset bonfire on the string lit terrace overlooking the ocean. Unforgettable!

Wake to the song of birds, and fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. Located on 2 acres, sharing the property with the owner but both places separate and private. Very short distance up the road to many unique Humboldt beaches, Trinidad, Redwood National park. Arcata and Eureka just south 7 and 15 min.

Escape to The Wildflower Cabin! Experience the beautiful Redwood Coast from our cabin nestled on 2.5 acres of redwood forest. Centrally located minutes from town, beaches, and Cal Poly Humboldt. Wake up to panoramic views and vaulted pine ceilings. Explore the property's winding paths, spark some friendly competition in our game room before relaxing in the hot tub or sharing stories of your day's adventures, around the firepit.

Popeye's Cottage in the Redwoods

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. This cozy cottage is nestled on four and a half acres of beautiful second growth redwoods just outside the town of Trinidad. It is a small and simple cottage with three beds and all the necessities needed to cook. The cottage's main heat source is a gas fireplace. WIFI service is available, there is no tv/entertainment center, so bring your laptop if you want to.

Hot Tub Hide-Away in Freshwater

The Hot Tub sits in a gorgeous and totally private meadow, surrounded by the redwood forest. There is an outdoor BBQ and fire ring. The location conveniently located 15 minutes from Arcata or Eureka. There is the convenient Three-Corners Market, about a 5 minute drive. We take special Covid-19 Cleaning precautions, following the Airbnb Sanitation Handbook.

Moonstone Beach Getaway – Views & Adventure

Cozy studio cabin with stunning ocean views, just a 5-minute walk to Moonstone Beach. Perfect for outdoor lovers—surf, hike, and explore the North Coast! Close to Redwood National Park, Sue-Meg State Park, and multiple local beaches and trails. Features a queen bed, walk-in shower, kitchenette, and private deck with gazebo for epic sunsets.

Sylvan Harbor Cabin 3

Built in the 1940s, Cabin 3 has been modestly updated but maintains a rustic, rough-around-the-edges feel. There are some eccentricities, such as the cabin bedroom does not have a door. It has all the essentials for an extended stay. It is cozy, clean and functional providing a nice, quiet base for relaxing and enjoying the local beauty.
